Burchamcrest Cavaliers is located in Bella Vista Arkansas in the beautiful Ozark mountains.
We aquired our first Cavalier in 2001 after reading a book on choosing the best dog for the family. There was a picture I fell in love with and my research began. The more I learned about the breed the more I knew I wanted one. I had the see it, want it, need it, got to have it syndrom.
Our dogs do not live in kennels but have run of the house, after all they do come from royalty.
Cavaliers are truley a wash and wear dog, no groomers needed. A good brush a day and a bath every so often does the trick.
We are proud to be members of the CKCSC, Cavaliers of the South, and the Northwest Arkansas Kennel Club.
We register all our dogs and puppies with the CKCSC and the AKC.
We do health tesing on heart, eyes, patellas and hips on all our dogs and make sure any dogs used for stud have also passed all thier health test . We want to produce only healthy happy cavaliers.

Cavaliers are fearless and think everyone is their friend. A sweet, melting, gentile expression is the hallmark of the cavalier. They should be between 12 &13 inches high at the withers and weigh between 14-18 pounds with slight vaiations acceptable.
Cavaiers are loving and sweet with all ages and make wonderful therapy dogs.
They are indoor dogs and should never be left to live outside.
